The Challenge: Redesign & rebrand the Fitbit package to be more sustainable.
If you've ever found yourself in possession of a Fitbit, you might have noticed the excessive amount of packaging. This rebrand was created to challenge the amount of packaging used, as well as to create a more sustainable home for the Fitbit.
For the rebrand, I wanted to tie the product in with something active. Borrowing inspiration from the highly active film "Run, Lola, Run", the design follows a narrative across the package to show the features. The typeface used is the long and lean Tungsten.
The structure is based off of a template from The Dieline, and chosen for its portability. It fits easily in the hand— perfect for those on the go. The package itself is made from recycled chipboard and is tabbed to eliminate the need for glue.
